Pathway TranslationsBecause the Good News of Jesus Christ is too good to keep to oneself, we have been helping others understand the Bible in their own languages since 1980. In addition to the 11 languages currently on the internet and the shortwave radio broadcasts in 3 languages, Bible Pathway has been printed in many other languages throughout the last 30 years. The majority of the world still depends upon the printed Word of God in their own tongue. 
Sadly, some translations were printed and distributed in the past, but our supply is completely
depleted, such as the Urdu language, pictured right.
52 million speakers of this language, the majority of which live in the Muslim controlled nation of Pakistan, await the Word of God in their language. There are several new translations in other various languages which have been completed but still await the funds to publish them and others It was recently reported that the United States is now the third largest Spanish-speaking country in the world. Though missionaries throughout the Latin world continue to request El Camino Biblico, we now are depleted of that supply as well. But we are excited about its newest translation to be printed in September 2003, providing we receive the needed funds. Because there is a great deal of cost involved in getting a book translated, printed and distributed, we still need at least $10,000 to get the new book, The Best of El Camino Biblico, into people's hands before January 2004.
India is now the most populous nation on earth, with over 1.2 billion people. Over 550,000 villages in India have never once heard the name Jesus Christ. There are an estimated 850 languages in daily use in India, and most of the 1.2 billion people speak one of 17 languages. Besides Hindi and English, there are 15 other major languages. Because of this, it is necessary to translate Bible Pathway into as many of those 15 languages as possible. The Hindi Bible Pathway has been published as well as 8 other Indian languages no longer in print. Now it is very important to translate 7 other major languages of Southern India to reach the people there. About $5,000 can guarantee 7 new translations of the major languages in India: Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Oriya, and Marathi. Leaders in India tell us that each book is read and shared on average with 12 - 20 other people. How exciting to know that for each Bible Pathway sent there, many people will benefit from it.
For every gift of $5,000 or more, you may personally sponsor the printing of one of these Indian languages. Because of your gift, untold thousands of people will learn more of their Creator God and Heavenly Father, why He created them, and hopefully, will then fulfill that purpose. Through your sponsorship of Bible Pathway, you will help them understand the Bible in their own languages. Because it truly is laying up eternal treasures - the impact of God's Word on these lives, and the lives of those they touch, cannot be calculated this side of heaven.
