QUESTIONS FROM OUR READERS:

"How many times should one read the Bible" ~ Brother Philip

That's a good question, Bro. Philip, and one we're asked quite often. The Bible itself gives us the answer. It shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established . . . and all nations (people) shall flow unto it. And many shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the House of the God of Jacob; and He will teach of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem  (Isaiah 2:2-3; Micah 4:1-2).

After Jesus returns we'll be going to Jerusalem to sit at His feet to learn more. We can never read the Bible too many times, for there will always be more to learn and apply to our hearts and lives.

THIS WEEK AT BIBLE PATHWAY

For seven years we tried to send a shipment of Bibles and Bible Pathway to our Liberian brothers and sisters in Christ. Each time, our U.S. postal system returned the mailbags saying shipments were temporarily suspended.

While we sought answers around the world, God had the answer sitting in our very city! Service to Servants is a ministry regularly shipping containers of needed items to ministries in Liberia.

Today's photo shows our shipment being loaded on the container leaving this month. It should arrive in Monrovia several weeks prior to the scheduled November 15 beginning of their Bible Reading Marathon. Included in the shipment were Bibles -- both new and used, Bible Pathway, and other material to be shared with the 20 churches taking part in the Marathon.

We thank God for ministries like Service to Servants which prays others will start similar ministries to other countries. If you know of others ministering in this way, please let us know. We're eager to send packages in their containers too.
